My fiance had one in Dec 07 and she had sensation as soon as the surgery was over. It actually made things worse because she had felt all the pain and if she got cold or anything it hurt. It is somewhat odd, but you should talk to your PS who did your surgery and get some answers. Not sure about the stomach. I would definitely recommend seeing the plastic surgeon because he/she will be able to give you a more deefinite answer.
