I don’t want to sound brutle but there is no such thing as smart lipo…it’s all bad….it’s unnatural…and unreliable, not worth it at all…learn to be comfortable in your own skin…it can be very dangerous, particulary if you get a bad doctor…

A very small tube containing a laser fiber is inserted into the skin. The tube is moved back and forth delivering the laser’s energy to the fat cells, causing them to rupture and easily drain away. The laser energy also interacts with the dermis it resulting in collagen shrinkage. The laser causes small blood vessels to coagulate immediately on contact, resulting in less bleeding, swelling and bruising, – and a quicker recovery time than conventional liposuction.
Due to the small size of the tube this procedure is considered minimally invasive and can be performed under local anesthesia.Because general anesthesia is unnecessary, the procedure is very safe with only minimal side effects.
In effect, it is similar to regular liposuction, only done with smaller tube. The recovery time is much less than traditional liposuction.

This procedure would be good for someone who is in good shape, but has some areas of fat that have been hard to lose–such as a little tummy or thighs.

It would not be so good on someone with a large area to do.

If you haven’t already done so, read up on it. There is some good info on smartlipo.com.

Seriously, it’s not worth it. It’s too dangerous and too expensive! The website claims the procedure is 30% cheaper than regular lipo. But it’s still going cost you $4-6K. With the cost of that, you can hire a personal trainer, a nutrienist and buy a new wardrobe.
